DISASTER PREPAREDNESS 3,400 Ham Radio Club, CERT and local EO volunteers in the event of catastrophe or attack on U.S. soil
BORDER SECURITY AND IMMIGRATION advocates for strict border and port security as a defense against invasion or attack by foreign enemies, illegal drug trafficking and adverse economic impact.
NATIONAL EMERGENCY FUND provided more than $9 million in immediate financial assistance to members and posts affected by natural disasters.
BLUE STAR BANNERS to acknowledge U.S. families with loved ones serving in the Armed Forces during wartime.
BLOOD DONOR PROGRAM encourages blood donation and host blood drives.
FOREIGN RELATIONS urging the President and Congress to promote peace, human rights and trade on a global scale pursuing the “smart power” strategy to fulfill U.S. foreign policy.

About Post 181

Lake Stevens Memorial Post 181 takes pride in serving our community supporting local veterans, active-duty military, and their families. Post 181 sponsors youth programs including Scout Pack and Troop 42, American Legion baseball, Boys and Girls State, the Oratorical contest, health and safety programs and scholarships.

We provide Memorial Day services, flag lowering’s and retirements, veteran benefits guidance, hand out remembrance poppies, provide color guard for high school football games, participate in Aquafest and many other activities supporting the Lake Stevens community. We are veterans “Still Serving America” Through Veteran Outreach, Community Service, Military Family Support and Youth Programs”
